News - Raspberry PI Registration is Open Now
Introduction to Raspberry PI:
Join us for 8-weeks fun activities about this handy microcomputer, which is great for learning about electronics and programming, and for creating DIY home automation projects.
We'll learn the basics for getting started using a Raspberry Pi, including what it is and how to set it up.
We’ll introduce some basic knowledge about: circuit, python, OOP, Restful API, encoding/decoding theory etc.
Prerequisites: Basic PC and internet skills.
Student’s Grade: 6th&7th
Date: Every Sunday (starting 09/18, 8 weeks)
Time: 1:00pm – 2:50pm

Fees: $160
Lab fees: $100 (including PI and extra parts)

What We Offer

The 2016 fall program from Pyramid Academy is designed for learners wishing to learn new subjects or expand on existing ones during the school year. As for the fall program, classroom size will be no more than 10 students. The main objective of our program is not only on the knowledge itself, but also on the process of developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Through our rigorous curriculum, students will be much better prepared for various prestigious national and international competitions.
Fall classes will be offered in the following three tracks. All classes will be given in 2-hour session on Saturday, between 9:00am and 6:00pm or Sunday, between 12:00pm and 7:00pm, Aug. 20th through Dec.11 (14 weeks, no class on Labor day and Thanksgivings).
